In short bullets we, POWEC, can offer the following services for pipe-lay welding together with you:

• With the in-house experience within POWEC our aim is to work together with Clients to run the whole process of production welding during qualification welding in our welding facility and onboard a pipe-lay barge in such a way that high production rates will be hand in hand with high quality welding.
• We are able to get automatic welding systems for you, where data and welding parameters can be controlled and even documented for all welds if required by the Client.
• We like to build long term relationships with our Clients to support with develop programs for welding qualifications with our team of experienced welding coordinators, welding and NDE engineers while working together with your welding specialists as one team in our facility in Roosendaal (NL) or elsewhere if required.
• The use of a sufficient number of welding stations in our facility at Roosendaal (915m² inside / total area approximately 3200m²) for development of welding programs and to run welding procedures which have to be ready for production. Next to the welding procedures, welder training and qualifications will be done at our facility.
• We can provide automatic welding equipment and other special pipeline equipment such as internal line-up clamps, pipe facing machines, induction heating.
• Install the necessary computers including programs to log all welding data which can be requested by our client.
• Deliver manpower for production welding together with experienced supervision. The supervision will be preferable done in close corporation with the client's welding and production personnel working together if required.
• Depending on the wish of our client we can include the services of a recognized NDE company in our scope of work.
• When a project requires an ECA we are able to do all necessary calculations and defend the outcome for your and our benefit during discussions with your clients.
• In the event double joints have to be made we can organize the necessary equipment and run the production of the double-joints in a fab-yard near our site or aboard if required.
